Because the original Cardy
Clamp
was so effective many further applications were soon found for this
simple, low cost and efficient method of holding signage. Demand soon grew
for a clamp to hold thicker material, hence the Cardy # 2 was born.
Cardy # 2 can hold boxed framed signs up to 25mm thick. Cardy # 2 is still
made in Australia from the same 3mm thick rust resistant steel as the
original Cardy # 1

Usually fitted top and bottom of the sign.
